1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They are used to make the website function properly, to remember preferences, or to measure and analyse visits.
Not all cookies are the same:
- Functional cookies are necessary for the website to function. No consent is required for these.
- Analytical cookies are used to measure visits. Whether consent is required depends on whether the cookies are configured in a privacy-friendly way.
- Tracking and marketing cookies follow you across websites, often for advertising purposes. Explicit consent is always required for these.
2. Which cookies we place
GoodInit deliberately does not place tracking or marketing cookies. goodinit.nl uses only the following functional cookies:

These cookies fall under the statutory exemption for functional cookies (Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act – Telecommunicatiewet), and we place them without a consent banner. Regular visitors will not encounter them in normal use.
On the contact form we use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Turnstile does not place cookies and does not track visitors across websites.
- No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or similar trackers
- No advertising networks
- No heatmaps or session replay tools
- No embedded social media widgets with tracking
- No external booking tool or iframe embeds for scheduling appointments (see section 4)
3. No analytics
GoodInit currently uses no analytics package – no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Plausible. We do not measure which pages you visit, which country you visit from, or which device you use to browse. We do not see click behaviour, time spent on the site, or heatmaps.
This is a deliberate choice for the first year of our website. We prefer to receive feedback through conversations with clients and colleagues rather than through a dashboard.
Should this change in future – for example, if we want insight into which articles are read most – we will choose a privacy-friendly, cookie-free option (such as Plausible Analytics) and will update this cookie policy before it is put into use.
4. Scheduling appointments – no external booking tool
To make an appointment, you use the contact form on this website. We then manually schedule a conversation by email or phone. There is no external booking system or iframe embed on goodinit.nl, and no additional cookies are placed for scheduling appointments.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Although we do not place tracking cookies, you can set which cookies you accept and which you do not in your own browser. You can also delete previously placed cookies. The exact steps differ per browser:

Deleting or blocking cookies may affect how some websites function, but for goodinit.nl this has no noticeable effect for regular visitors.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy when we make changes to the tools we use – for example, if we introduce an analytics package, add a chatbot, or embed a third-party widget. The current version is always available at goodinit.nl/cookies.
For material changes that require visitor consent (for example, placing tracking cookies), we will introduce a cookie consent banner where you can make an explicit choice.
